How it works
Three steps, in the order you’d actually do them.
Paste your notes
Lecture notes, a textbook passage, a PDF, a web page. Whatever you were going to reread the night before the exam.
The cardiac cycle has two phases. In systole the ventricles contract and push blood out. In diastole they relax and fill again…
AI makes the cards
You get a draft deck: one idea per card, questions and fill-in-the-blanks. Edit or delete anything before you keep it.
AI card generation is part of Pro. On Free you write cards yourself or import them.
- In which phase do the ventricles fill with blood?
- Diastole
- In systole, the ventricles ______ and push blood out.
- contract
Review on schedule
Each day RecallDeck shows you only the cards that are due. Rate how well you knew each one and the SM-2 algorithm decides when you’ll see it next. Easy cards drift further apart. Hard ones come back sooner.

RecallDeck for Claude
If you already work through your lecture notes in Claude, you’ll be able to say “turn these lecture notes into a RecallDeck deck” and have the cards appear in your RecallDeck account, ready to review.
It will work through MCP, the Model Context Protocol. That’s an open standard that lets Claude use other apps for you once you’ve given it permission. We’re building the RecallDeck side of that connection, for both Claude.ai and Claude Code.
RecallDeck already uses Claude inside the app to draft cards. This is the other direction: using RecallDeck from inside Claude. None of this is built yet.
Here are my notes from today’s cardiology lecture. Turn them into a RecallDeck deck.
Done. I made a deck called “Cardiac cycle” with 14 cards in your RecallDeck account. Six are fill-in-the-blank. It’s ready whenever you want to study.

Why I built RecallDeck

I liked what Anki does for memory, but not how it feels to use. I wanted spaced repetition that looks good, works in a browser, and turns my lecture notes into cards in seconds. That's RecallDeck. It's early, so try it, break it, and tell me what's missing at hello@getrecalldeck.com.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes. The Free plan covers up to 200 flashcards with spaced repetition, CSV import and study statistics, and it doesn’t expire.
Pro is $6 a month. It removes the card limit and adds AI card generation and AI explanations. There’s a 7-day money-back guarantee on the first payment.
What happens to my data?
Your decks, cards and review history are stored in our database (hosted by Supabase) so they sync across your devices. We don’t sell your data and we don’t use your cards for advertising.
If you use an AI feature, the notes or card text you submit are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to produce the result, and they aren’t used to train models. Nothing is sent if you don’t use those features. You can delete decks any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and everything in it.
The Privacy Policy has the details.
When does the Claude integration launch?
We don’t have a date yet, and we’d rather not guess. RecallDeck for Claude is in development and you can’t use it today.
Everything else on this page already works.
Does it import from Anki?
Yes. You can import Anki decks as .apkg files, and plain CSV files too. You can also export any deck back out as CSV.
Imported cards count toward the 200-card limit on the Free plan.
